Worklink WA has been successfully assisting people in the Great Southern region of Western Australia to 'learn, work, grow' since 1988. Our purpose is to help people reach their goals by maximise their employment and training opportunities

Worklink WA is a contracted service provider for the Jobs & Skills Centre services across the Great Southern and Esperance regions. The Jobs & Skills Centre is a free service that assists people of any age and at any point in their lives to make educational, training, and occupational choices. Worklink WA assists people in managing their careers and to identify their career pathways. In addition, we specialise in career guidance and assisting people to better prepare for work. We provide career guidance services to help you identify, plan and then reach your potential in the workforce. Our Career Development Advisors will support you to create effective resumes and job applications relevant to the job and help you to prepare for that vital interview.

Worklink WA with the support of the WA Department of Education also provides training for high-school-aged students in Albany, to prepare them to leave school and succeed in work and further education and training. We assist the students with a unique wrap-around support service with mentoring, providing a breakfast club, coordinating work experience, and career advice.

We work with small groups of students in various programs and get excellent results helping each young person progress into the working world outside of school. Our facility provides an authentic workplace setting and our team works closely with each student to engage and support them in their learning and development of life skills.

In 2020 we began providing services associated with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) with a focus on empowering people to reach their community and employment goals. In a dedicated trades workshop, each participant is mentored through hands-on experience assisting them to improve their capacity to work, in pursuit of their open employment goals. In 2023 we pioneered a small sewing and textiles development group and will continue to adapt our service to the needs of our clients.

We work alongside key community organisations and employers across the Great Southern and Esperance regions to link participants to the possibilities available across these regions.

From July 2023 Worklink WA became part of the local Albany community-based not-for-profit organisation ATC Work Smart Inc. By combining our skills, resources, and services in the key areas of training and employment, we can help more of our customers achieve their goals. Worklink WA now has access to a large team of dedicated staff to serve your needs and answer your questions relating to traineeships, apprenticeships, employment, and the vast range of training courses and qualifications available.
