Ben Headlam - Chair
Having worked in health across Australia for over 10 years, including clinical and management roles in mental health, I made a change to the not for profit sector two years ago. I now manage Palmerston Great Southern Community Alcohol and Drug Service. The shift in direction for me has aroused a greater desire to contribute to the community that I call home in a way that improves the outcomes for those in need and those wanting to improve their own situation. The clients that come through my service all experience significant hardship and it is very clear that education, occupation and vocation are potentially some of the most significant personal forces creating barriers for people to overcome their issues and live a happy and fulfilling life.
My personal interests include travel, design, woodworking and fishing.
Antonia Grasso - Vice-Chair
After practising law for just over 20 years, in 2008 I decided to close that chapter in my life. I started working at Relationships Australia as a branch manager and a registered mediator. I conduct mediations in family law and non family law related matters.
I am also an independent community member for the Department of Housing Appeals Tribunal.
I enjoy teaching of any sort, such as dancing and languages, and I have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
I also enjoy theatre and writing, having published some poetry books.
