Training overview

Worklink has been delivering quality training in Albany and the Lower Great Southern for many years and since 2016 we've also been delivering training from our offices in Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields.

As an Registered Training Organisation (RTO) we provide national recognised qualifications in Business and Retail. We pride ourselves on providing non-traditional classroom-based learning - so those who find traditional classroom style learning challenging often find they are able to concentrate and engage better with our relaxed yet professional environment.

We specialise in creating engaging, well targeted programs for different cohorts and learning styles.

For those who want to undertake study in Business or Retail at their own pace and in their own environment can also access our self-paced training in Business or Retail.

Some people require additional support to help them access training. The Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD) subsides a range of training options to provide assistance and support to eligible students via the Participation Program (PP).

Worklink is an approved provider to deliver courses within the Participation Program (PP). As part of this, we offer students additional support such as assistance with meals, well-targeted work experience placements, and resume writing.

To gain access to training as part of the Participation Program students may need to be referred by a 'participation referral agent', though students can self-nominate if they meet the eligibility requirements.

Worklink is approved to provide training to the following student groups - people with disabilities, unemployed young people (15-24 years), job seekers and Aboriginal people.

To find out more about the Participation Program please refer to the DTWD website where you will find more information on the student groups and eligibility requirements as well as information of authorised participation referral agents: www.dtwd.wa.gov.au/training-providers-and-schools/vet-future-skills-wa#participation-program
